Description
"Brave Chickadee" by Debbie Oppermann. It was a Happy Dance day! My very first sighting of the amazing Long Eared Owl, Asio Otus, and in my backyard! Could it get any better? This medium sized raptor roosted all day on the branch of the Spruce tree in Guelph Ontario Canada. It was always aware of what was around it, those yellow eyes would stare intently at whatever disturbed or alarmed it. This beauty had no interest in the brave little Black Capped Chickadee that perched beside it on the branch, which was a good thing!
