"Eagle Eye" by Debbie Oppermann. You can be as quiet as you like and the Bald Eagle will still hear and see you, even with it's back to you. This bird of prey had just moved from one tree to another across the river so as to draw us away from the nest. We did manage to get fairly close to it as it was making sure that we were well away from the nest, which suited me just fine. The nest was quite high up a Pine tree on the Wanapitei River, French River Provincial Park, Ontario Canada.
