"Florida Gator" by Debbie Oppermann. You know, the American Alligator is one scary looking reptile. When in Florida near the Everglades, you had to be constantly aware of the presence of these armored predators especially when walking a trail through the swampy areas. I had been taking some bird shots when this one was all of a sudden right in front of me and even standing on a boardwalk it made you step back just a bit!
