"Just Resting" by Debbie Oppermann. The tiny, shiny and iridescent Ruby Throated Hummingbirds always seem to be zipping from one place to another, so it is very nice to capture them when resting. In reality, they spend most of their time perched, but because of their size, we cannot always see them. With this Hummer, it had flown past me and landed on a branch in a tree almost right beside me, so luck was with me that day!
