"Canadian Centennial Flag" by Debbie Oppermann. I was surprised to see this Canadian Centennial flag, which marked the 100th anniversary of the Canadian federation, waving in the wind on Thistle Island where we vacationed for the week. As were are currently still celebrating Canada 150 it was really nice to see the 100 year flag flying as well as the Canada 150 flags flying at various cottages in the area. The nylon Maple Leaf flag was rumored to have the triangles as representing the ten provinces with the eleventh triangle to represent the territories.
