"Curiousity" by Debbie Oppermann. This cute, slender American Mink with tawny fur was playing in the water along the shore of Thistle Island, Georgian Bay Ontario Canada when it stopped playing to watch us getting closer in the boat. Mink are semiaquatic, carnivorous mammals with a rich dark glossy coat. Mink like to live near water and are seldom found far from riverbanks, lakes and marshes. Even when roaming, they tend to follow streams and ditches. Curious little guy!
