"Daisy Fleabane" by Debbie Oppermann. I find that sometimes the remnants of wildflowers are just as beautiful or maybe more beautiful than the actual flowers. This image of the brown, dried and empty seedheads of the wild Daisy Fleabane is quite delicate and lovely. To me it is stunning and much prettier than the actual bloom. The fall is a great time to catch these after blooming plants in their full glory and I was thankful that there were still some at the arboretum in Guelph Ontario Canada.
