Description
"Elusive Black Billed Cuckoo" by Debbie Oppermann. Well seeing this very lovely Black Billed Cuckoo in Guelph Ontario Canada, was a first for me. Uncommon and elusive, the Black-billed Cuckoo skulks around densely wooded eastern forests and thickets, are secretive and tend to perch motionless for long periods, so finding one can be tricky. They are slender, long-tailed birds with white below, brown above, black bill and a red eye ring and they love caterpillars.
