Even though the Common Grackle is a noisy nuisance, it is a beautiful black bird with a blue head, glossy iridescence in the right light and just the right amount of arrogance! The roadside pond in Guelph Ontario Canada was home to not just the usual Red Winged Blackbirds but also the Grackles.This beautiful black bird was perched on a metal fence post showing off the gorgeous tail feathers.
