"Flight Ready Bald Eagle" by Debbie Oppermann. It took me all week in McGregor Bay Georgian Bay Ontario Canada, to finally spot a Bald Eagle and it was just as we were leaving that we noticed it perched on a dead tree on one of the islands. The boat was rocking a little on the slightly wavy water and I had to wait for it to stop rocking so I could get a shot and I kept my fingers crossed and said a little prayer that the Eagle would not take off before I was ready. Someone was listening to me for sure!
