Description
"George Lake Shallows In Fall I" by Debbie Oppermann. We are very lucky here in Canada to experience the four seasons as each is beautiful in it's own way, but I have to say that autumn is outstanding. The colorful fall foliage in golds and reds mixed with the green of the evergreen trees is stunning to say the least. Killarney Provincial Park Ontario is a wilderness park and with the mountains, numerous crystal clear lakes and amazing granite and quartzite rock formations, it cannot be beat. The forests of Pine, Maple and Birch are mesmerizing with the fall foliage at peak. This lovely scene with the Maple trees in gold and red, the yellow grasses, the green Pine edging the shore and the lake water rushing over the rocks of George Lake was so worth the hike.
