"Gray Treefrog" by Debbie Oppermann. When vacationing on an island in McGregor Bay Ontario Canada we spotted a few very cute Gray Treefrogs. This adult is a mottled gray with suction cup like toe pads and bright yellow coloring under thighs. These frogs have the ability to change colors like chameleons. The Gray Treefrogs are "true treefrogs" as they do inhabit even the very tops of tall trees in woodlands near permanent water. This one's coloring is perfect camouflage as it sits on a weathered tree branch.
