"Late Autumn On The River" by Debbie Oppermann. Just a few weeks before the official winter season but we have already had snow and really cold temperatures. The Speed River in Guelph Ontario Canada is one of my favorite spots to be at one with nature. I love walking the river trail in all seasons. It was an extremely cold morning for a walk but the beautiful scenery was definitely worth braving the cold wind. The browns of the bare branches on the deciduous trees, the golden brown of the tall grasses, the white of the fallen snow and the reflections on the still river all combined to make a wonderful, peaceful outing.
