"Oriole On The Line" by Debbie Oppermann. Usually each spring I get the Baltimore Oriole in my backyard for just a day. I don't know where it goes after but I am prepared for it with the feeder out and the fresh oranges. This year, so far, was no exception, with the male Baltimore Oriole staying one afternoon, eating the oranges, sipping from the feeder, perching on the trees and clothesline and the next day nowhere to be seen.
