Description
"Pastel Pink Carnations With Baby's Breath" by Debbie Oppermann. According to a Christian legend, Carnations first appeared on earth as Jesus carried the Cross. Carnations sprang up from where the Virgin Mary's tears fell as she cried over her son's plight.Carnations are known as the "flowers of God." Carnation flowers are symbolic of love, fascination, and distinction and are scientifically known as Dianthus. Whatever their symbolic meaning, they are just lovely in a bouquet. I especially love the soft, delicate pastel pink blooms when accented with the airy Baby's Breath spray.
