"Rocky Foundation" by Debbie Oppermann. When touring Shawanaga Bay, Georgian Bay Ontario in our boat, we saw quite a number of cottages on islands and some of those vacation homes were pretty old. This one particular cottage had a gorgeous stone foundation that I loved. The rocks were all different sizes, shapes and colors and just imagining the time it took to build it was mind boggling. The love and care that went into each and every stone positioning was something that people years ago took the time to do and as you can see it stood the test of time.
