"Sipping Nectar" by Debbie Oppermann. Finding these lovely, tiny, Clearwing Hummingbird Moths, Hemaris thysbe, is a thrill for me as I don't see them often. It mimics the Hummingbird as it sips on the nectar of the wild, native Daisy, Leucanthemum vulgare, with its wings outspread in the bright sunshine, hovering and humming. It is unique among typical moths as it is out and about during the day, not at night.
