"Sit And Wait" by Debbie Oppermann. The regal Snowy Owl perched on a dead tree in a farmers field in winter is a sit and wait hunter. Silent and patient it surveys the winter corn field as it hunts during the day, unlike other Owls. I had been searching all winter for a Snowy and finally driving the country roads, I spotted this Arctic beauty between Fergus and Arthur Ontario Canada. Happy day!!
