"Spiral Center Of Sunflower" by Debbie Oppermann. The spiraling patterns in a sunflower seed head are a perfect example of the fibonacci sequence which is frequently found in nature. You can't look at Sunflowers and feel sad.Their big, bright faces seem to be smiling at you as they follow the sun each day. This ruby red Sunflower blooming in my garden in Guelph Ontario Canada has medium sized blooms that are quite attractive especially in the fall when other flowers have faded. Happy is what these blooms make not only people but birds and bees love them as well.
