On our way to Egypt in winter, we had a 5 or 6 hour layover in Paris France so we had planned on hiring a taxi to take us on a tour of the highlights of Paris. We visited just a few of the iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
