"The Chase Is On" by Debbie Oppermann. For two days in a row this male Mute Swan chased this Canada Goose across the roadside pond in Guelph Ontario Canada and each day I had to laugh as this seemed to be the daily routine. Mute Swans are quite aggressive and it is always a Canada Goose that seems to irk them. It almost seems to be a game between them, even though the expression on the Goose is a little like "here we go again!" There was no harm to the Goose as the Swan was satisfied as long as the Goose was well away from the female Mute Swan.
