The unspoiled, rugged landscape with the pine trees caressing the rocky shore, the swift flowing river and rapids, and the stunning rock formations make one superb wilderness adventure. The river was quite high this year and as we approached the outer edge of the swirling water we could already feel the tugging on the boat as it wanted to pull us in, so we backed up and went as close to shore as we could to find a place to safely tie up and revel in the stunning unique beauty of The Chutes.
