"The Lost Bench" by Debbie Oppermann. Rounding a bend in the remote end, which is the start of the Key River Ontario Canada, we spotted a lovely old, weathered, handmade, rustic bench on a wooden dock that was wedged between dead tree branches on the shore. It was kind of sad to think that it just fell apart and floated away from where it was, once upon a time, anchored near a cabin on the river. We had noticed a few cabins in the remote part of the river that had been abandoned for quite some time.
