"The Nut Does Not Fall Far From The Tree" by Debbie Oppermann. It was a foggy fall morning for a walk at the arboretum in Guelph Ontario Canada. I was very surprised at only seeing one squirrel enjoying the fallen nuts, the ground was covered with them and there was even one sitting on the bench. This rustic wooden bench with iron scroll work that rests below a large Black Walnut tree with golden green foliage, beckons all to take a few moments, relax and enjoy nature in any season.
