"Waiting For the Unlucky One" by Debbie Oppermann. The arboretum in Guelph Ontario Canada has an abundance of "feeder" birds so this is where the Sharp Shinned Hawk likes to hunt. This one was perched on the tree branch quite close to a feeder station and it's head never stopped moving, constantly looking for the birds. I could hear the birds chirping as they were hiding out in the trees but they did not come out until the Hawk vacated the tree.
