"She's A Lady" by Debbie Oppermann. The very lovely female Red Winged Blackbird gets ready for flight off the dried cattails perch on a windy day at the roadside pond in Guelph Ontario Canada. Though not as brilliant as the glossy males, the females are beautiful with their streaky brown plumage.
