"Autumn And The Great White Egret" by Debbie Oppermann. The Great Egret is a dazzling sight dressed all in white and set against the darker background as it flies past a brilliant red Maple tree in fall. A tall, stately white wader of quiet waters it takes flight when disturbed. The Grand River at Wilson's Flats Elora/Inverhaugh Ontario has been known to host the odd Egret and I was thrilled to see it in flight.
