"Before The Chutes" by Debbie Oppermann. Sturgeon Chutes on the Wanapitei River, French River, in the French River Provincial Park is an area of outstanding beauty. The unspoiled, rugged landscape with the pine trees lining the rocky shore, the swift flowing river and rapids and the stunning rock formations make a superb wilderness adventure and we loved every minute of our time there.
