"Caught On Rocks Damajagua River" by Debbie Oppermann. We hiked the Rio Damajagua in the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispaniola to get to the waterfalls, charcos, as I wanted to bring my camera and I could not do the waterfalls jumping with camera in hand. This rocky shore was near the pool of the last waterfalls. The waterfalls are in the northern corridor of the mountain range near Puerto Plata and the river flowing through the limestone carves out the landscape to create very interesting landscape. With the sun shining and sparkling on the white limestone rocks and the leaves caught in the swirling water, it made a lovely natural abstract.
