"Cedar Waxwing In The Lilacs" by Debbie Oppermann. For me, spring is the heady scent of Lilacs in the air. The fragrant pink purple Lilacs in the garden at the arboretum in Guelph Ontario Canada, had a very dapper, well groomed visitor perched on a branch amid the flowers and foliage. The Cedar Waxwing complimented the Lilacs with it's lemon yellow plumage and black mask.
