"Dazzle Me" by Debbie Oppermann. Map Turtles are a freshwater reptile with light markings that resemble the contour lines of a map. They are mostly found in rivers and prefer large bodies of water and areas with fallen trees. At the slightest hint of danger they slip into the water. They are carnivorous and feed on molluscs, insects and crayfish. These two were enjoying each others company on a log in the Shawanaga River Ontario Canada and are a species of concern.
