Artist's Description
"Gnarly Oak" by Debbie Oppermann. The mighty Oak Tree is a symbol of strength and endurance and this one fits that description as it is ancient. This particular majestic Oak Tree with it's many twisted, contorted, gnarly branches is my favorite tree. It is massive in height, the bark is rough and heavily ridged and the arms are far reaching. It sits on the edge of a field on a dead end road in Guelph Ontario Canada and is just stunning, especially at sunset.
