"January Roadside Pond II" by Debbie Oppermann. We had some strange weather in January here in Guelph, Ontario Canada. One weekend we had record rainfall with flooding and the next weekend we had six inches of snow dumped on us. Typical Canadian winter weather. This roadside pond image is before the snow dumping and you can see that after the rainfall the weather changed to cold and a bit of snow which caused the ice upheaval in the shallower areas. The rapid change in our winter weather does make for some beautiful rural scenes.
