"Red Lace" by Debbie Oppermann. The deeply cut, delicate, wispy red leaves of the Japanese Red Maple are quite beautiful in the spring with the fresh new growth of the crimson foliage creating visual interest. The birds love to perch on the cascading branches and even the chipmunk was resting on the top of this elegant ornamental tree.
