Artist's Description
"Sharpie" by Debbie Oppermann. The Arboretum in Guelph Ontario Canada has an abundance of "feeder" birds so this is where the Sharp Shinned Hawk likes to hunt. This one was perched on the tree branch quite close to a feeder but there were no birds at the station, so I think that they knew it was there and were waiting it out and staying clear as they wanted to have lunch not be lunch!
