"Weight Of Winter" by Debbie Oppermann. The consequence of a combination of a record winter rainfall and then freezing quickly with a snowfall is that sometimes things just don't hold up to the weight of winter. The wooden fence post has seen better days but the wire fence has been pulled down by the heavy ice chunks that have heaved from the roadside pond in rural Guelph Ontario Canada. Some of my favorite winter images are just simple, minimal images in mostly white with this being one that I really like.
