"Frozen Snow Covered Lake I" by Debbie Oppermann. It was not quite mid March and the ice was starting to thaw along the shores of Guelph Lake, Guelph Ontario Canada but as you can see the lake was still snow covered and not safe for walking on as it was cracking and thin. The browns of the dead grasses, reeds and trees and the deep dark green of the evergreens contrasted nicely with the white and grey/blue of the snow.
