Description
"Hummer And False Dragonhead" by Debbie Oppermann. The light pink Obedient plants are just starting to flower in the summer gardens in Guelph Ontario Canada and the Ruby Throated Hummingbird is loving it. The Obedient plant, also called False Dragonhead, has the small tubular flowers that will stay in whatever position you move them so if the Hummer really wanted to, it can shift the small blooms any way it chooses to make nectar feeding easier.

This is such a cute photo. You really captured this shot so perfectly. It is difficult for me to capture hummingbirds with such clarity, but you did it very well here. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)

An excellent capture of the hummer, as well as the lovely blossoms of the False Dragonhead, Debbie, and very interesting info about the repositionable blooms too! L/F
