"Islands In Georgian Bay French River Delta" by Debbie Oppermann. The Parry Sound 33 fire in 2018, in Ontario Canada was a huge fire that spread over 11,000 hectares. The destruction of the natural habitat, homes and cottages was not only on the mainland as it jumped the Key River and continued burning the trees and vegetation on the islands in Georgian Bay as it headed towards the French River Provincial Park. The rock islands, to me, are still beautiful as I love rock and I know they will eventually return to their former glory with trees and vegetation dotting the islands.
