"Startled Geese In Flight" by Debbie Oppermann. The Speed River in Guelph Ontario Canada had an abundance of Canada Geese and Mallard Ducks resting in the shallow water on this cold, late autumn day. I tried my darndest to sneak quietly and inconspicuously closer to the shore to capture the hundreds of water birds resting in one area. Just as I moved fairly close, I was spotted and away they went just honking like crazy. I had to laugh as the majority flew away quite noisily and I did capture some of them in flight, but the others just didn't care where I was. It was a great, fun day for a late fall walk on the trail along the river!
