Description
"Flaunting The Tiger Stripes" by Debbie Oppermann. One of the most beautiful butterflies is the Eastern (Canadian) Tiger Swallowtail or Papilio glaucus. The male flaunts yellow and black stripes like that of a tiger, is very large and colorful and has a wingspan of 3 - 5 inches. This male was enjoying the Lilacs in my backyard in Guelph Ontario Canada, and flitted from one to another for quite some time which made me very happy.
