"Wings And Blooms" by Debbie Oppermann. What a treat to photograph both the Red Spotted Purple Butterfly and the Viceroy Butterfly together on the white blooms of the Ninebark bush in Guelph Ontario Canada. The coloring could not be more different between these two beauties and yet they will interbreed! The Viceroy resembles the Monarch in orange and brown line pattern and the Red Spotted Purple resembles the White Admiral but has red spots on wings.
