"Shades Of Black" by Debbie Oppermann. The all black American Crow is one of those birds that you either love or hate. They are noisy with their loud caw, are aggressive, and have no problem stealing babies from a nest. I happen to love Crows, as they are inquisitive, intelligent, problem solvers, good learners and beautiful with their jet black plumage. The arrogance and aristocratic bearing shows well in this image of the bird perched in the Maple tree in spring in my backyard in Guelph Ontario Canada.
